Aventure dans le Plateau
There are too many amazing spots in this sexy neighbourhood to crown just one king. But this particular section of cobblestoned Duluth Avenue feels authentically Montreal. Under vintage Portuguese signage and preserved Victorian architecture, catering to the newly imported out-of- towners on slow-motion Bixies, and the aggressive locals with their dogs on custom bikes who dominate the streets year-round, the hippie buskers, and the hard-boiled seniors holding on to the Plateau of yesteryear. Bless them all. Featuring an incredible line-up of vedettes: Michel Tremblay, Mordecai Richler and Ginette Reno!
An art print by illustrator Jason Wasserman. Part of the Montreal Neighbourhood Series. A deep and dirty dive into the architecture and people inhabiting the great city of Montreal.
This unique series of posters is executed in the artist’s signature bold black and white style. Exquisitely detailed and ethically sourced from a 100% hand-drawn illustration that you can stare at for hours, this print is absolutely littered with Easter eggs. Inspired by the sung and unsung heroes of Montreal, the illustration is remixed through the lens of vintage comic book cover art, with a unique vocabulary of original typography and graphics.
